Build demand, not noise.
This living roadmap ranks practical tool opportunities by intent, commercial value, competitive gap, repeat use and build confidence. Scores are directional until validated with first-party Search Console and paid keyword data.

HOW TO READ THE QUEUE
Scores guide review; they are not traffic forecasts
The score is an internal prioritisation aid based on the weighting above. It does not represent keyword volume, ranking probability or projected revenue. “Built” means a public calculator is available. “Formal review” means the problem is strategically relevant but still needs user-demand, search-result, safety and build-effort validation. “Candidate” is an earlier idea and carries no promise to publish.
Measured Search Console queries, calculator completions, repeat visits and privacy-safe tool requests can change the order. A request threshold starts a review rather than automatically triggering development. The team also checks whether a new page would duplicate an existing calculator or weaken the site’s small-business focus.
DOMAIN STRATEGY
One brand, two markets
Current structure: gettooliq.com is the canonical global brand. UK and US content live in the same authority-building site, with regional URLs and reciprocal language targeting. tooliq.co.uk is retained as the UK defensive domain.
| Domain | Role | Status |
|---|---|---|
| gettooliq.com | Canonical global site | Live |
| tooliq.co.uk | UK defensive domain | Connected |
Separate brands will only be introduced if audience demand and acquisition economics justify splitting authority.
SOURCE NOTES
What changed the plan
- Google AdSense programme policies prohibit ads on non-content pages and deceptive placements. The engine therefore pairs every tool with original methodology and guidance, and keeps ad surfaces distinct.
- Google’s revenue guidance says earnings depend on traffic, content, user location and ad setup. Revenue projections will wait for measured traffic and RPM rather than invented figures.
- Google Search Central’s software application documentation supports structured data for software pages. Every calculator emits WebApplication JSON-LD and unique metadata.
- Observed user discussions about VAT-inclusive margin and break-even planning show a recurring gap: business owners need tax-aware scenarios and explanations, not just a single output. This shaped the connected Business IQ launch cluster.
