How corrections are handled
A correction report is checked against the displayed formula, calculator behaviour and any current primary source that governs the claim. If a material change is required, the page is updated, tested and given an honest modified or method-review date. We do not alter dates when no substantive review occurred.
Please distinguish a calculation error from a different business assumption. A calculator may be operating as documented while a particular contract, tax scheme, jurisdiction or accounting treatment requires different inputs or professional interpretation.
What not to email
Do not send passwords, bank details, tax identifiers, employee records, customer data or complete financial statements. A page URL, the disputed wording or output label, a small fictional example and a link to the supporting source are usually enough to investigate.
Before relying on a result
Tool IQ provides educational calculations and general guidance. For formal filings or material legal, tax, accounting, employment or investment decisions, use the relevant authority and an appropriately qualified professional.
